Clark County Youth Football works with the Clark County Chapter of the National Football Foundation.

About the Clark County Chapter of the National Football Foundation:

The Clark County chapter of the National Football Foundation is dedicated to inspiring young people to academic excellence and keeping amateur football alive. “Building leaders through Sport”

Since 1993 we have honored those high school seniors from the local high schools in which 34 outstanding young men are honored and 6 are awarded each year a total of $15,000 to assist their college education. To date we have proudly awarded over $155,000 in scholarship monies to football seniors who represent our ideal of the scholar-athlete.

Other awards given out at the annual banquet recognize the “Outstanding contributions to amateur football”, The George Luce Evergreen Officials Scholarship Award, The Evergreen officials sportsmanship award, John Hadley Award, as well as honoring those retiring as Head Football Coaches.

While honoring area scholar-athletes the chapter also holds the largest one day paid Pro-Am golf tournament in the Pacific Northwest, this being our primary fundraiser. The foundation has also teamed up with the National Football League to further educate coaches in not only the areas of football skills and strategy but life skills and player development as well.
